I am planning a 35 day cycling holiday from Chicago to New Orleans in September/October 2010.
This involves about 2700 kms of , which is quite manageable at 80 kilometres a day. As well as visiting America for the first time I am particularly in visiting some Civil War sites and travelling near and along the Mississippi River.
